Greece will not 'borrow' its own treasures, Mitsotakis says

The Parthenon is an ecumenical monument, the Prime Minister stressed during the signing ceremony of a protocol for the delivery-receipt of relics between Greece and Bulgaria.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis reiterated Greece's position on the Parthenon Sculptures, stressing that the goal is to restore the aesthetic and semantic integrity of the monument. As he underlined, Athens will not accept a regulation that recognizes foreign sovereignty or the return of the Sculptures in the form of "loan".
