Missouri High School Crowns Trans Woman ‘Homecoming Queen’
- Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Missouri recently crowned a male student as homecoming queen, following a tradition that began in 2015.
- The newly crowned homecoming queen, Tristan Young, expressed overwhelming love and gratitude on Instagram, thanking the school for choosing him.
- The school had also crowned a male student named Landon Patterson as homecoming queen in 2015, who has since transitioned and goes by 'Lana Luxx.
