Missing 12-Year-Old North Carolina Girl Found with Registered Sex Offender After Ohio Crash

- Hocking County Sheriff Lanny E. North said investigators believe Larson lured the victim through a fake social media scenario, portraying himself as a boy her age to convince her to leave home.
- Larson, a registered sex offender in Ohio, faces charges of kidnapping and resisting arrest. A judge set his bond at $1 million for the kidnapping charge and $10,000 for resisting arrest.
- Deputies booked Larson into the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail following investigation. The Hocking County Sheriff's Office is coordinating with Athens County, Stokes County, and the FBI to continue the investigation.
