Minnesotans top field at Lutsen 99er
LUTSEN — Minnesotans were crowned victors of both the men’s and women’s races at the 15th Lutsen 99er mountain bike race in Cook County on Saturday. The men’s champion was 29-year-old Chase Wark of Winona, who finished atop of a field of nearly 398 riders. The entire weekend featured 1,700 riders from 36 U.S. states and four countries in a variety of race distances. Wark completed the 99-mile course at Superior National Golf Course in five hours…
