Argentina has designated a new Ecuadorian criminal organization as a "terrorist group." Javier Milei was in Quito on Thursday, August 6, 2026, to meet with his Ecuadorian counterpart, Daniel Noboa. Following their meeting, the Argentine presidency announced that the Chone Killers gang would henceforth be considered a "terrorist organization" by Buenos Aires.
