The General Directorate of 112 Emergency Calls and Coordination has been established within the Ministry of Interior to provide a more effective and faster response to emergency calls. In a statement regarding the matter, Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi said, "We are strengthening our 112 Emergency Call System, which comes to the aid of our citizens in their most difficult moments, making it a more effective and faster structure."
