Millions pour into Alaska to boost fringe U.S. Senate candidates

Outside groups have spent more than $2 million to lift fringe candidates and split votes in Alaska’s Senate primary, officials and campaign filings show.

More than $2 million has been spent in an effort to weaken both Republican incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan and Democratic challenger Mary Peltola.
