- On Friday, EXTERNAL AFFAIRS Minister Jaishankar attended the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Atlanta, warning that "tactical calculations should not lead to overlooking the dangers of terrorism."
- Following the deaths of at least 22 Indians, including 14 seafarers, in West Asia since February, Jaishankar's remarks served as a veiled critique of United States ties with Pakistan under President Donald Trump's engagement with Army Chief Gen Asim Munir.
- Targeting China's export restrictions, Jaishankar argued the "right to industrialize is being denied" through market distortions. He also flagged urgent need to preserve freedom of navigation under UNCLOS, noting India and Liberia's joint seafarer protection initiative.

- From Atlanta, Jaishankar will travel to Antigua and Barbuda for the Commonwealth Heads from November 1 to 4, laying groundwork for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's potential visit to the United States for the G20 leaders' summit.
