Microsoft Teams will gain a layer of protection against phishing based on artificial intelligence, able to analyze the context of conversations and identify possible attempts at social engineering, especially in chats initiated by external contacts. The implementation is scheduled for November and December 2026, with activation by default and without retention of message content for AI model training.
