After just two years, Microsoft is discontinuing the Copilot+ PC brand. Computers with AI-specific parameters will still be sold, but with a name suggesting a connection to Microsoft's AI model. Microsoft has already stopped using the label "Copilot+" to distinguish its Windows PCs boosted with artificial intelligence. This decision is made while Windows now faces competition from MacBooks equipped with Siri AI and computers that use Google's new Googlebook platform.
Microsoft and its partners have, in complete discretion, abandoned the Copilot+ brand on machines designed for artificial intelligence. This abandonment follows the commercial failure of this strategy and the numerous security flaws associated with the Recal function of Windows 11.
