Miami University football to play in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl

Miami University returns after winning last year’s Arizona Bowl while Fresno State brings a top-ranked defense to the December 27 game, organizers said.

  • On Dec. 27, the Miami of Ohio RedHawks will meet the Fresno State Bulldogs in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, kickoff 4:30 p.m. ET.
  • Miami University finished the regular season 7-5 with a 6-2 MAC record and lost the MAC title game 23-13 to the Western Michigan Broncos, while Fresno State completed the year 8-4.
  • Sponsored by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, the bowl returns with celebrity branding as Snoop Dogg headlined last year’s halftime and trophy presentation, but it’s unknown if he will reappear.
  • Tickets for the Arizona Bowl are officially on sale and the game will air nationally on The CW, with proceeds benefiting local veterans, first responders, teachers and community organizations.
  • First‑year head coach Matt Entz led Fresno State to a postseason with 8 All‑Mountain West honorees, and the defense allowed just 293.5 yards per game, its lowest since at least 1992.
