Mexican president blames the US for bloodshed in Sinaloa as cartel violence surges
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador blamed the United States for increased cartel violence in Sinaloa, resulting in at least 30 deaths this past week.
López Obrador confirmed U.S. government involvement, stating, “Yes, of course … for having carried out this operation.”
He asserted that American authorities' operation to capture Zambada was “totally illegal,” involving agents from the Department of Justice.
