Mets’ conservative nature standing in way of stud pitching prospect trio ‘knocking on the door’

The Mets play things conservatively on trades (more on that below) and promotions. So it’s no surprise they don’t seem in any rush to call upon any of their three promising rotation prospects — Nolan McLean, Brandon Sproat and Jonah Tong — and one person suggested it’s no certainty to happen this year. But it sure is good to know they’re killing it. They may be needed soon.
