Savoie. "The whole house caught fire in a few minutes": the owners stunned by the violence of the flames

On Tuesday 11 March, around 6 a.m., a house in front of the Porte-de-Savoie estate was ravaged by flames. Despite the rapid intervention of some 30 firefighters, the house was almost completely destroyed, as was a nearby vehicle parked. A few hours after the events, the owners were still stunned.

On Monday evening, the verdict fell on the premises of the miners in Lyon.

The juvenile tried, who will be 18 years old in a few days, was found guilty of having deliberately caused the fire which devastated a residence of two buildings in Saint-Fons, on 2 July 2023, in the margins of the riots following the death of Nahel Merzouk.
