The president of Metro de Santiago, Patricio Rey, explained that this week a new milestone was reached in the development of the future Line 7, with the beginning of the dynamic tests of the first autonomous train Metropolis AS-22-UTO. The tests were carried out at the Alstom facilities in Taubaté, Brazil. This advance constitutes a fundamental step for the future commissioning of the new line.
To date, seven of the 37 units commissioned for this stretch have been assembled and are currently in various stages of manufacturing or testing. The Alstom entrance starts dynamic tests of the first train on Line 7 of the Santiago Metro was first published in Revista Electricidad.
