The Budimljan-Niksic Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church presented Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić with the Order of Saint George the Victorious, 1st Order, which, as stated in the statement, "demonstrates the unity of the Serbian people."
Metropolitan Methodius of the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic awarded Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić the Order of Saint George the Victorious, First Class, for, as he said, the love and charity shown towards the Church, especially during the construction of the Church of Saint Sava in Dapsić near Berane, the Serbian Orthodox Church announced today.
Vučić was awarded the Order of Saint George, 1st degree, for his love and charity towards the church.
"We are, regardless of territories, borders and laws, one people of the same language and culture, connected by the St. Sava path," said Miloš Vučević, who received the decoration on behalf of the Serbian president as his "special envoy."
