Meta to label more AI-generated content

Meta Platforms Inc has introduced AI-generated content labels on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads in response to feedback from its Oversight Board.
Meta's new policy aims to identify and add context to AI-generated content to prevent misinformation spread, in line with common watermarking standards established with Google and OpenAI.
Meta's new "Made with AI" labels will begin appearing in May 2024, allowing AI-generated content to remain unless it violates other rules, such as hate speech or voter interference.
