- Each 125,000-square-foot structure relies on a nearby 200-megawatt modular gas turbine facility, with Meta beginning construction between April and June 2026 to cut deployment time.
- Wall Street has reacted negatively to the spending strategy, with company stock trading down 5% this year despite Meta's plan to spend up to $145 billion on capital expenditures.
- Expanding this tent-based strategy to additional sites, Meta is reportedly moving operations to Tennessee to bypass bureaucratic bottlenecks currently stalling data center projects across the industry.
