'Up to 15cm' of Snow Possible as Weather Warnings Issued

Snow accumulations of 2-15cm are possible above 150 metres with strong winds causing travel disruptions, Met Office warns of medium impact but very low likelihood.

  • Drivers are being urged to carry winter kits including warm clothing and food, allow extra time, and check vehicles before setting off amid possible travel delays and disruptions, the Met Office spokesman warned.
  • The Met Office rated the warning as "very low likelihood" but with a "medium impact" and the UK Health Security Agency issued a yellow cold health alert from 6pm on Tuesday until 6pm on Friday.
