Employees of the closed Mere retail chain have found themselves in a strange situation: they are not receiving their salaries, but some of them have not yet been fired and are not free to look for another job. After sanctions were imposed on the companies operating the chain and their accounts were frozen, employees have to contact the Financial Crimes Investigation Service (FNTT) for every unpaid euro.
