- Coming in the second half of this year, the 2027 Mercedes‑Benz GLC400 4Matic Electric is a front- and rear-motor, all-wheel-drive, 5-passenger wagon arriving in the U.S.
- On a new platform, the GLC Electric features a 5.0-inch longer length and a 117.0-inch wheelbase, providing more head- and legroom with a standard panoramic roof.
- A pair of permanent-magnet motors delivers combined power of 483 hp and 590 lb-ft; the battery pack has 94 kWh usable energy in an 800-volt system with up to 330 kW peak charge.
- With pricing unannounced but expected at $63,000, Mercedes offers an optional Agility & Comfort package with air springs, adaptive dampers and rear-axle steering, and a two-wheel-drive version will follow.
- The cabin offers an available 39.1-inch Hyperscreen, and the grille uses a matrix of small LEDs recalling the 1959 Mercedes‑Benz W111, with WLTP 715 kilometers suggesting about 380 miles EPA.
