Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Electric Hypercar Packs 1153 Electric Horsepower
Mercedes says the first series-production EV with axial-flux motors reaches 1,153 horsepower and charges from 10% to 80% in 11 minutes.
On Wednesday, Mercedes-AMG unveiled the 2027 GT 63 4-Door Coupe, an all-electric vehicle delivering 1,153 hp and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in about 2.0 seconds.
Developed from the record-setting GT XX concept, the vehicle utilizes a 106-kWh battery and three axial-flux motors to maximize efficiency and enable repeated high-load performance.
Engineers integrated a 'Predictive Performance Manager' with Endurance and Hotlap modes to optimize energy on tracks, while the cabin features a pillar-to-pillar Superscreen and simulated V8 sounds.
Rapid charging capabilities allow the 800-volt battery to reach 80 percent state of charge in 11 minutes, adding more than 460km of range for practical daily use.
Mercedes-AMG will launch the GT 55 variant in late 2026, followed by the top-tier GT 63 in early 2027, with six-figure pricing expected but not yet finalized.
