As a freshman in 2003, Richard Midgley hit one of the biggest shots of this century for Cal, knocking down a 3-pointer as time expired in OT to give the #9-seed Golden Bears the 76-74 victory over the #8-seed NC State Wolfpack in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
