Man who was shot dead in Cabo Rojo

King David Matos Morales, 35 years old, who was shot to death early Sunday afternoon in events that occurred a few steps from his house on Sol Street in the Corozo neighborhood, in Cabo Rojo, was pronounced dead early today at the Rio Piedras Medical Center, with seven violent deaths over the past weekend.

A man was shot at around 5:33pm on Sunday, at the back of a ball park located on the Corozo plots, Sol Street, in Cabo Rojo. The 35-year-old was transported by ambulance to a hospital in the area, where he was diagnosed with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, and was referred to a hospital in the metropolitan area. His condition was described as being of care. The police investigate the circumstances of these events.
