Memorial Day Tribute to Louie Edwards
On Memorial Day, tine Tulia community gathered at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1798 to honor the nation’s fallen heroes in a moving program that beautifully bridged sacrifice and community. The playing of Lee Greenwood’s, “God Bless the USA” opened this year’s program. Levi Baird sang the National Anthem, led the pledge to the United States Flag and then offered the opening prayer. Levi is the youth minister at the First Baptist Church.
