It's Not Time to 'Panic' over Medicaid, but It's Time to Plan, Charlottesville Docs Say

VIRGINIA, JUL 31 – Virginia faces a $6.8 billion Medicaid funding loss over 10 years, risking rural hospital closures and reduced care access for 300,000 residents, advocates warn.

While Virginia Republicans say now is not the time to "panic" over Medicaid cuts, doctors and Democrats say the state should at least be planning for them.
