Europe's top court on Wednesday overturned the European Union Intellectual Property Office's (EUIPO) refusal to prevent a Polish company from using the name Obelix in Europe as a trademark for weapons.
The comic character Obelix is almost invincible after she fell into the magic potion as a child. The name is program, thought in 2022 a Polish gunsmith and wanted her to be protected for her products. The publisher complains against it - and now gets right for the time being.
