Minister of Defence Pistorius was apparently not entitled to suspend the registration obligation for men of vulnerable age by general decree. This is reported by the ARD-Hauptstadtstudio on the basis of an expert opinion of the scientific service of the Bundestag.
Young men must be allowed to travel abroad for longer periods. Pistorius suspended the regulation after criticism. An expert opinion doubts that this was lawful.
