- Authorities confirmed that four bodies, including three women and one man, have been recovered, while the State Disaster Response Force , Nagaland Police, and Assam Rifles continue searching for five missing persons.
- The state government announced ex gratia assistance of Rs 4 lakh for next of kin and Rs 74,000 for each injured person. The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority issued an advisory urging residents to evacuate landslide-prone zones.
- Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio expressed "distress" over the tragedy, confirming his administration is closely monitoring the situation. He assured that the government will provide necessary relief and assistance to all affected families.
