Mass. man hit by truck near report of person lying under different truck, police say

As Braintree police investigated a report of a man lying under a truck in the middle of the road before fleeing on Friday, officers were called to another scene where a man had been struck by a different box truck.The first incident happened just before 1:20 p.m., according to the Braintree Police Department. The man entered the road at 1574 Washington St. in front of a delivery driver’s truck as it was driving.
