Mass. fisherman killed in motorcycle crash was married for nearly 50 years

A motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a pickup truck on Route 1A in Ipswich last weekend was a fisherman who was married for nearly 50 years. Gloucester resident Charles Parisi, Jr., 72, was declared dead at the scene of the crash on High Street near the Dow Brook Conservation Area around 4 p.m. on Aug. 24, the Essex County District Attorney’s Office said previously. The pickup truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
