Marshall football: Practice focus switches to preparation for Georgia

HUNTINGTON — Marshall football has shifted its focus to preparation for No. 5-ranked Georgia as the first practices with classes underway began this week. “We’ve moved on to Georgia,” Marshall coach Tony Gibson said. “That’s the next phase. We’ve done a lot of scout team work today. We’ll continue that through the week and have a mock game Friday. We’ll repeat that next week. We’ve moved on, and it’s time to go.”
