The owner of the Beauval Zoo has given up welcoming dolphins from the Marineland of Antibes, whose fate has remained outstanding since the closure of the park in January 2025.
The project, now estimated at €45 million, was expected to accommodate some of the cetaceans in the closed park in 2025. The management referred to legal proceedings and the lack of commitment by the state.
The dolphin reception centre will not be possible, for lack of resources and support from the government, which was at the origin of the project. Bad news for the 8 dolphins of the Marineland of Antibes, which the Beauval zoo was to collect.
