American singer and actress Madonna shared a video on her Instagram page about student protests in Serbia. "What the media isn't telling you is that one of the biggest student protests since 1968 is currently taking place in Serbia," Madonna wrote in the post.
Madonna took to Instagram to support Serbian students who blocked three bridges over the Danube in Novi Sad with the support of citizens. The Queen of Pop's support disturbed Serbian diva Jelena Karleuša, a vocal supporter of Vučić, who had harsh words for Madonna: "I love your music. You're a legend, but f*****."
The students announced that they will remain on the streets and bridges for as long as necessary to achieve justice.
Marina Abramović, posted on her Instagram account a message of support for Serbian students.

The student protests began two and a half months ago following the deadly collapse of the renovated roof at the Novi Sad train station.
