- Following Friday, Bezzecchi battled through Q1 to secure the final Q2 spot and credited Valentino Rossi for late-night assistance.
- During the closing stages, he clocked a 1m28.060s with under five minutes to go and edged Alex Marquez by just 0.016s to claim pole.
- After initially leading the session, Marquez crashed at the Turn 2 chicane and will start fourth after his front-row bid ended in the gravel.
- Reflecting on race pace, Bezzecchi noted `But if I make a good start, then hopefully I can fight, and I will have my elbows out and give my all.
