Our farm dog, Robin, turned 4 this year, and has grown into a distinguished gentleman, of sorts. His recall is better, he’s chill with farm guests, and he’s kind(er) to our poultry. He’s an all-around good dog. So when Cloquet Community Ed offered a canine “Good Citizenship Certification” course, I signed us up. I’ve always wanted to take a dog to visit nursing homes, and this seemed like Step 1....
