Manitoba town's aquifer can no longer support residents' water needs

Virden, Man. – The town is racing to dig a new well to meet the potable water needs of its residents and businesses as aquifer levels continue to drop. Low water levels have forced Virden to move away from its existing aquifer. Summer drought has strained water levels to the point where the town’s current aquifer can no longer support the municipality’s needs. CBC News report
