Manitoba names new commissioner of teacher professional conduct
The Manitoba government has named Noni Classen as the new commissioner of teacher professional conduct, a month after the province cut ties with Bobbi Taillefer, the first appointee to the role, for working out of province. Classen joins the Manitoba office from the Canadian Centre for Child Protection.
Noni Classen has been Director of Education and Support Services at the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (CCPC). She has also been an orthopaedagogue with the Louis-Riel School Division (DSLR) for 10 years and holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba.
