FOLEY — A man charged with strangling a Sauk Rapids woman to death in 2024 entered a Norgaard plea on Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Benton County court. Christopher Lee Neal, 46, of Aurora, pleaded guilty to intentional second-degree murder. As part of the plea deal, three other counts (including another second-degree murder charge and two theft counts) were dismissed and Neal will receive a guideline sentence of 27 years with credit for time served.
