Homeless man arrested in El Cerrito stabbing

(KRON) -- A homeless man was arrested in connection to a stabbing in El Cerrito at 11:24 a.m. Thursday morning. According to the El Cerrito Police Department, officers responded to a battery in the 10300 block of San Pablo Avenue. At the scene, officers encountered the victim, a 55-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was taken to John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek and is expected to recover.
