Man Gets Sentenced for Selling Fatal Dose of Fentanyl to Mesa Father

Prosecutors said James Anthony Amalfi sold the fentanyl that killed Ryan Brown, and a codefendant’s trial is set for October.

A Valley man will spend two decades behind bars for selling a fatal dose of fentanyl to a father of two. James Amalfi was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of manslaughter, a Class 2 felony.
