Man killed in Austin shooting

A man was killed in a shooting Sunday morning in Austin on the West Side, according to police.The 28-year-old was outside about 11:40 a.m. in the 4900 block of West Adams Street when multiple armed assailants approached and opened fire, Chicago police said.The man was struck multiple times and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.No one is in custody. Area Four detectives are investigating.
