Mint Hill officers released from hospital after shooting, suspect identified
Mint Hill police confirm the two officers shot during a child custody exchange on Friday have been released from the hospital. The suspect, 36-year-old Tjamel Ali Hamlin II, died at the scene. A gun was recovered. The officers' identities remain undisclosed.
