A man has been sentenced to state prison in a shooting that seriously injured an employee on a Jersey Shore boardwalk. William Hoyle, 42, of Wildwood, received an 18-year sentence on Wednesday, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office said in a Friday statement. He was previously convicted of first-degree attempted murder.
