A 70-year-old Southfield man is headed to prison for molesting two children in his family. At a sentencing hearing Monday in Oakland County Circuit Court, Judge Daniel O’Brien ordered Lawrence Miles to spend 25 to 40 years incarcerated for sexually abusing a boy and girl, both under 10 years old at the time.  Prosecutors said Miles committed a series of sexual assaults against the children this year and in 2024.
