A call to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office concerning a person who was stabbed has turned into a murder investigation.

Hamilton man arrested following Christmas Eve stabbing

HAMILTON, Ill. – Hancock Sheriff Travis Duffy says a 911 call received by the Hancock County 911 Center at about 10:00 Wednesday night has developed into a murder investigation. The 911 call revealed that a 29-year-old man had been stabbed at a residence in rural Hamilton.  The victim was later pronounced dead. A suspect is in custody currently. Garrett P.
