Man dies after falling from tree in Mass.

A 40-year-old man died Monday evening in Erving after he fell from a tree, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s office.Police went to the area of French King Highway in Erving around 6:45 p.m. Monday night. There, they found a man lying near the base of a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the district attorney’s office said in a statement.
