The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has charged a St. John’s man with firearms offences. Shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, police responded to the Rabbittown area of St. John’s after a report that someone had left in a vehicle with a firearm. The suspect vehicle was located a short while later however fled from police. Officers did not pursue in the interest of public safety.
