Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 41-year-old James Mitchell in a vehicle in the hospital parking lot that had been reported stolen. Area transient arrested after allegedly caught driving stolen vehicle

Hunter 07/21/25 An area transient was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle. Police stopped 29-year-old Robin Oligmueller when he parked at the Kum & Go location on South Riverside Drive at approximately 10:37. He was allegedly in possession of a stolen GMC pickup with Illinois plates.  Oligmueller reportedly admitted he took the truck without the owner’s consent, and was placed under arrest.
