West Midlands Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Oldbury this morning (March 31).

The woman, who was in her 40s, was discovered in Swan Crescent on Monday morning

During the night, the police were called to a residence in Ale municipality due to an injured person. Later, the police announced that the person, a man in his 80s, had died as a result of his injuries. A person has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The man from Trøndelag spent much of January 2024 on the farm in Løten. Ole Andreas Sønstvedt probably lay dead in the ravine nearby.
